“The wind and the sun is for free, so why don´t we use it” said Karl Lagerfeld referring to the setting of the spring summer show. Well if you think like that, of course it´s not gonna be as magical as the previous Marie Antoinetteish theme or the Mermaid under Water theme. But it is still hard not to be impressed and even overwhelmed by the Chanel magnificence. There is something about the brand that is just out of this world. As for the pieces, Lagerfeld always manages to do something new and exciting, like the big circular handbag and the sweatshirt silhouette on classic Chanel clothing. It is a simple, volumous but light and unique collection.
